Water Rates

There are established for the use of and the service rendered by the Waterworks System of the City of Attica, the following rates and charges, based on the use of water supplied:

Each user shall pay a minimum monthly meter charge in accordance with the size of the meter installed for which the user will be entitled to the quantity of water set out in the above schedule of rates.

Tapping fee for sewage hookup is $1500.

Stormwater Fee Rates

Your utility bill includes a storm water fee. The storm water charge is a flat fee of five ($5.00) per month for each Residential, ten dollars ($10) per month for each Commercial and Public Authority, and twenty-five ($25) per month for each Industrial User of the City’s sewage system.


Trash pickup is included on residential utility bills. Trash is scheduled to be picked up on Thursdays if your residence is south of Jackson and West of Council. It will be on Friday if your residence is North of Jackson and East of Council. Trash may not be put out before noon the day before your trash pick-up. In the event that a holiday falls on Thursday, Friday shall become trash pick-up day. If the holiday is on Friday, Saturday will be your trash pick-up day. If you are 65 years or older, you are eligible for the senior trash rate. You must provide proof of your age. Contact the Clerk’s Office for further information.
