It’s the time of year again for Attica City Spring Cleanup! The first cleanup event of 2026 will take place on Friday May 1st and Saturday May 2nd. The event will once again take place at the Attica Sewage Plant on West Monroe Street from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM each day. Electronics and scrap metal bins will once again be available and tires, paint and batteries are not allowed. Appliances that contain refrigerant must have a tag from a certified company showing that the refrigerant has been removed. Please note that there is no curbside pickup, so do not place items at the curb.
This event is for residential Attica water and trash customers only and a current water bill and photo ID must be shown before entry.
The Attica High School Football Team has once again agreed to help citizens with heavy items like couches and chairs get them to the site for a free will donation and request forms for this are available at the City Clerk’s Office if you need the football team to help you!
