Attica Main Street would like to thank Robie Criswell for letting us use his restaurant as a last-minute rain location for the Twilight Music Series. We look forward to 45 RPM on August 18th when he will be serving food as well!
More thoughts on the Attica Community Celebration: we had double the amount of vendors this year; Susie Q’s with the fair food was a huge hit; perhaps add a watermelon seed spitting contest next year; more games/activities for children need next year; add food vendor(s) to fireworks location; maybe booster club would want to sell food and/or glow sticks at fireworks. Next year’s date will be June 27, 2020 – mark your calendars!
Cindy Mason shared that Donnie has ordered the brackets for the light poles and expects the banners to be $3,500. To start with, we plan to have a set of spring/summer banners and fall/winter banners. Hoping to have everything in time for this Christmas season.
Cindy Mason shared updates on the progress and planning behind Spirits in the Park on September 14th. She met with the people who put on the Fiddlers Gathering and was able to get some great ideas to implement this year.
The next meeting will take place on Thursday, August 8th.
