Miscellaneous Business:

Citizen, Mike Nicolas, complimented Ron Jean/city crews on the asphalt that was poured near Myers Steel.  Upon discussing that area, Mike Little/AFD Chief, mentioned that that part of South Brady Street is almost too narrow for emergency vehicles.

Mrs. Stoll reported that Sentry Roof came to inspect the roof of the city building because there is leaking in the hallway outside the clerk’s office and the courtroom.  Upon inspection, they indicated that our roof is not under warranty anymore.  Their opinion is that the spiral cracks that they see in the area of the roof that is leaking was damaged by hail.  Mrs. Stoll asked if the Board of Works think she should call our insurance carrier to file a claim for repair.  They advised her to proceed with filing a claim.

Mayor Roderick said that he is interviewing candidates to replace Tom O’Connor as our City Attorney since he is retiring March 31, 2019.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned, the next Board of Works meeting will be held on April 2, 2019 at 4:30 pm.
