Board of Works & Safety – February 19, 2013

The Board of Works and Safety for the City of Attica met, pursuant to Public Notice, on Wednesday, February 19 at 4:30 P.M. in the City Council Room. Present were Mayor, Robert Shepherd, City Clerk, Susan Stoll and Board Member, Duane Roderick. Also present was City Attorney, Tom O’Connor.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Minutes of the regular session held on February 5, 2013 were approved as prepared on a motion by Duane Roderick, seconded by Mayor Shepherd.

CITIZENS PETITIONS

There were no citizens petitions to be presented to the Board.

DEPARTMENT HEADS REPORTS

Mr. Jean reported that work continues to be done on the sewer lines on a section of McDonald St.
Mr. O’Farrell reported that he had completed inventory for year-end reporting. The tanker will be worked on in March.
Mr. Dismore spoke about the McDonald’s restaurant renovation.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

There was no unfinished business presented.

NEW BUSINESS

There was no new business presented.

CLAIMS

Claims dated on February 19, 2013 for $ 284,353.06, as shown by the Allowance of Accounts Payable Vouchers, were presented to the board. Mr. Roderick made a motion to pay the claims, seconded by Mayor Shepherd.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS

There was no miscellaneous business to discuss.

There being no further business to be brought before the board; the meeting was adjourned.
